I thought this place was lovely! I had the chowder with Haddock and it was lovely. It was a little bit bland, but I had some pepper and cayenne pepper with me so I jazzed it up. It was delicious. I ordered a Ham Italian sandwich. It was nice and tasty. It was a very simple sandwich and classic. Wasn't anything to write home about but the staff was very nice and the prices were very fair. I don't think you can go wrong grabbing lunch here.

Nothing as exciting as some of these posts have relayed happened to my friend and I at Cheryl's. In fact, our experience was quite tame and tasty to our palette. Having decided upon tuna, we tried the sub AND the wrap, and felt the tasty and delicious albacore was worthy of price and purchase. We had a very generous serving that was able to be utilized in our two main meals, by adding chips to the experience! Woo to the whoo Cheryl. Most delightful and across from our hotel which was most advantageous.

First time at this little shop and I got the turkey Italian sandwich and it was so good. The prices and amazing for the size of the sandwich and I will definitely be coming back again. We need to be choosing these local shops to eat than going to these chain places.

The lobster roll at Cheryl's Sandwich Shoppe is the BEST desk in town! For $9.95... you will get big scoops of lobster with mayo on a soft split hot-dog style bun plus a TON of chips. Cheryl and her daughter run the shop themselves giving this establishment a "local" vibe. Come on down to Cheryl's and try the lobster roll. This deal just can't be beat!

One of the best places to get food in the surrounding area. Everything that is one the menu is made to order and tastes great! Lobster Rolls, Haddock Chowder, Subs, Wraps and the desserts! OMG! If you haven't been in you need to stop buy and find out for yourself.

The wife got a 9.99 lobster roll, lots of lobster. I got haddock chowder and a salad with a scoop of tuna salad. You can tell from the other customers that this is a local favorite and some are in every day for lunch. I plan to return.

Very tasty food! Cheryl's is a casual sandwich shop offering a variety of Italian subs (ham, turkey, roast beef, veggie), chicken salad, egg salad, ham salad & tuna salad subs, reubens, pastrami, clubs, chicken caesar wraps, tarragon turkey sandwiches, plus salads, daily soups/chowders, steamed hot dogs, chips, small baked goods, and cold drinks. The prices here seem reasonable, most subs and sandwiches $4.25-$6.75. I stopped in here for lunch recently. I ordered a Small Ham Italian Sub ($4.75) with lettuce, tomato, onions, American cheese, black olives, green peppers, pickles, and Italian dressing (one half) and mayo (other half), Homemade Potato Salad ($1.50), and a Small Homemade Haddock Chowder ($3.25). The Ham Italian Sub was perfect and very fresh, plenty of fillings stuffed into a soft and very firm white Italian sub roll. The Potato Salad (from the grab & go cooler) was a good size side, which had dense texture with red skin potatoes, celery, & red onions in a creamy mayo mixture. The Haddock Chowder had a not so thick creamy broth with soft pieces of haddock and chunks of potatoes. The food I had was excellent and the service was very prompt. I would recommend this place for lunch. Hours here are limited, only open 10AM to 2PM on Mondays-Saturdays.
